We are starting to plan our next international trip - booking flights, airbnbs, food tours, restaurant reservations, etc. One of my favorite ways to prepare is creating custom google maps with points of interest. It's allowed us to knock-out multiple museums, photogenic streets, and viewpoints in one region of a city, and already know which restaurants and coffee shops are nearby that are worth the money or wait.
While creating our next maps I realized I never shared the final leg of our Europe trip to Vienna and Salzburg. This portion of the trip finally brought us a taste of the natural beauty of central Europe. Similar to Prague and Budapest, we still spent much of our time in the city centers and exploring museums, churches and palaces, but we also were greeted with the lush green of Austria with train rides, a visit to the fertile Wachau valley for some wine tasting, and a glimpse of the mountains outside of Salzburg. Here are the final photos from last summer's trip. Only 4 months until the next big trip.
